Kevin Danzig writes and performs modern folk and acoustic rock tunes as well as selected cover songs, accompanied by acoustic guitar, and harmonica; he plays tambourine with his foot. Originality is Danzig's hallmark; Kevin's lyrics are invariably intelligent and the instrumental arrangements are in perfect sync and skillfully executed.

Kevin's fans range from age 3 to 93 and his original songs can be heard on rock, folk, Americana and easy listening stations in North America and are available for digital download at, itunes,, and many other sites.

Kevin Danzig makes his home in Silverthorne, CO and San Clemente, CA. He plays a wide range of venues throughout North America, including clubs, concert halls, festivals, restaurants, college campuses, coffee shops, outdoor arenas, house concerts, corporate events and weddings. He writes and performs songs for motion pictures, and jingles for commercials. In the past 10 years, he has been invited for a return engagement to every venue at which he's performed. Growing up in a musical family in Southern California, Kevin Danzig has been playing instruments nearly his entire life and professionally since the age of 18. At age 11, Kevin was recording for K-TEL Records, (Mike Curb Productions), as one of the jubilant voices of "50 Children’s Favorites”, (as seen on TV). It was in 1978, however, that he got his first big...rejection, when Chuck Barris, (host of the Gong Show), told him, "Kid, you're too good for this show!"

Kevin has recorded seven full length CD's of original material, (five solo and one duo). His CD’s, The Time Is Right, Box Cars, Welcome Home, Kevin Danzig, Lately, The Key, (Danzig & Woolley), and Free the Poet, are available for sale at

His most recent CD, (released 06/21/10), THE TIME IS RIGHT includes seven original songs by Kevin and seven selected covers by "hit" songwriters who continue to inspire and renew a sense of purpose and wonder. The perfect CD to put on for intimate situations. Also released worldwide via the internet at the same time is a song re-written, (by Kevin and Freda Danzig), and re-recorded to reflect the 2010 Gulf Oil Spill and give hope to mankind following such a disaster. The single, "Sweet Rain, Pure Rivers, Clean Seas" can be listened to and downloaded at Kevin's websites.

His 2008 release, "Box Cars" highlights the diversity and history of the Tri-State Region (Missouri-Kansas-Oklahoma) It was produced by MIKE WEST at the Ninth Ward Pickin' Parlour in Lawrence, KS. In Spring, 2008 it charted in the top 40 Americana/folk charts.

He has three songs featured on the Soundtrack of the movie SOULTAKER and has won five BILLBOARD MAGAZINE Song Awards. His song Hey Dean! was featured on the syndicated radio program CAR TALK. When asked to comment on his "live" performances, Kevin states, "Let's face it, major stardom is not often in the cards for most singer/songwriters. What’s important to me is to touch live audiences and radio listeners with my music and lyrics one heart at a time. I want my audience to leave feeling entertained, but also with a melody in their heads they can't seem to shake and if I'm real lucky, a new topic for their next conversation."

Instrumentation Kevin plays acoustic guitar/harmonica/foot tambourine and sings at the same time.
