argie darnell everybody's talkinA native of Alabama, Argie has been performing since she was five years old. Her seven years as a regular on The Country Boy Eddie Show in Birmingham gave her a "jump start" in country music. To date, Argie has made over 200 televison appearances including The Don Ho Show in Hawaii. A recent show at Nashville's world famous Ryman Auditorium rates No. #1 in her list of venues. Governor Hunt of Alabama appointed her as a "Good Will Ambassador" for the state in 1992, the youngest ever to receive this commission. Argie also served as an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel Aide-de-Camp in the Alabama State Militia under Governor Hunt.

Civic activities include numerous benefits for the Prevention of Child Abuse, The Heart Association, and Muscular Dystrophy Association. Argie has made over 200 TV appearances. Opening acts with Grand Ole Opry stars: Jerry Reed, Tom Wopat, Earl Thomas Conley, Ronnie Stonemann, Razzy Bailey, Gary Collins, Grandpa Jones, Hager Twins, Justin Tubb, Mary Ann Mobley, Stonewall Jackson, Ernie Ashworth, Charlie Lovin, Coasters, Drifters, Martha Carson, Curly Fox, Freddie Hart, Bill Morgan, Bobby G. Rice, Little Jimmy Dickens, Minnesota Fats, Jimmy Newman, Gordon Terry, Don Ho Show Hawaii, Galen Kam's of Hawaii 5-0 guest at Elks Club in Hawaii with Nick Masters, Louise Mandrell, Jett Williams,Montgomery Gentry, Josh Turner, Randy Owens, Percy Sledge, Jamey Johnson and many more. Argie has performed on numerous TV radio shows including the Country Boy Eddie Show for seven years, Birmingham, AL, as a regular and on the Ernst Tubb Midnight Jamboree in Nashville.
