Jimmy Lee Hannaford is a songwriter and performer whose roots stretch back to his native Mississippi, where he soaked up the sounds of Delta bluesmen as well as R&B, rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, folk, country, funk and soul.

After 10 years as part of the thriving music scene in Austin, Jimmy Lee spent three years in Fairhope on the Alabama Gulf Coast before relocating to Memphis. While in Lower Alabama, he performed regularly in clubs and was a featured at the L. A. Songwriters Festival and the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival. Jimmy Lee is working on a followup to his acclaimed CD Outside In which features contributions from some of his stellar musician friends in Austin. Songwriting and performing influences include Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Willie Dixon, Steve Forbert, Elvis Presley, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, Greg Brown, Wet Willie, Rosanne Cash, Tony Joe White, Eliza Gilkyson, Jon Dee Graham, Beanland, The Tangents and Duff Dorrough ... and many more.
