Bio: "I remember music in my life coming in waves and all around me. When you are born and raised in Mississippi you hear it from the gospel singings at the churches, juke joint hideaways, political rallies, school talent shows and mostly form the small town radio stations. Some of these stations would play country in the morning, pop tunes at noontime, rock and roll late at night. There was always something going on.

I recall very early on hearing Elvis. He came from Tupelo so you always listened to Elvis. My dads record collection was there along with LP's by Hank Williams, Jim Reeves, Tenn. Ernie Ford, Dean Martin and the Sons of the Pioneers. Later came the English invasion with The Beatles. My parents owned a local donut shop and they had a juke box. In my teens that jukebox played Roy Orbison's "Blue Bayou", Booker T. and the MGs "Soul Limbo". So many sounds could swirl around in a boys head. Then there were the blues. Delta, country and north Mississippi Hill blues. All these things made me.

I am a singer/songwriter not by choice but by calling. Every where I turned the music kept calling. As a result, my music contains all that I have tasted of the past, present and future."
